The brewery site lies on one of the city’s most important thoroughfares and is a stone’s throw from waterfront tourism attractions and the city’s arena and convention centre.
It is also within the city’s Baltic Triangle area, a growing hub for creative and digital enterprise and education.
At the heart of the site is the existing historic Cains Brewery building, currently surrounded by 1980s warehouse and manufacturing facilities.
“Cains’ plans will further enliven the area and, with other projects being developed, help realise its potential to become a compelling distinctive neighbourhood with a real mix of activity for businesses, visitors and residents. The plans will give real impetus to the vision for the Baltic Triangle outlined in the Liverpool City Centre Strategic Investment Framework.”
